Loestrin 24 Spotting

Spotting - irregular bleeding - breakthrough bleeding is normal for the first 3-6 cycles on any new form of contraception. If is becomes intolerable talk to your doctor, but until then they will probably just tell you to continue your packs as scheduled and make sure that you are taking the pill at the same time every day and not missing any doses!

Sometimes spotting can indicate a dosage level of hormones that is too low. If spotting doesn’t subside after 6 months consider a stronger birth control pill.
